• What's the difference between the Calendar and Tasks?
Calendar records and notices a part or a whole day of appointments for a particular date, such as meetings, dinner plan, birthday, etc.
Tasks is to organize an unfinished assignments.
• What does Calendar do?
It shows you all the important notice for a particular date, such as meetings, birthday, holiday, and other schedules.
For meetings you can set attendees, and send them notices through e-mails and recieve their replies.
• What is Dial Kit?
You can use this function to copy phone numbers from the text of a message and make a call to that number directly. Before using this function, please make sure that the device has a valid SIM card inserted.
Select START > Programs > Phone Manager > Dial Kit,
Select Check Clipboard to detect for any copied numbers. When a string of numbers are detected, the numbers will appear in the box on the screen.
Tap Dial to dial out to that number; tap Sound DTMF to make DTMF sounds.
TapExit to exit this program.
• How to show / hide SIM contacts in Contacts application?
You need registry editor. Change HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\ ShowSIM=0 - to hide, ShowSIM=1 - to show.
• Why can't I use the keypad?
Please check key lock of your phone and follow the prompt to unlock it.
• Can I add other input methods in?
GSmart i series allows user's own input methods, but the input needs to support Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0.
• How to change input methods?
Under input screen, click on the small arrow to bring up input selection, then choose your desired input method.
